torque box gusset question

I installed torque boxes on my 66 but never installed the torque box gussets.  I see the gussets are labeled as 67-70 models.  I would gather they fit on a 65/66 just the same but wanted to confirm before I ordered them with the rest of my order.

Re: torque box gusset question

Yes, they fit nicely.   I installed them on my 1966 convertible project.   Their used to be pictures on the forum.  I will see if I can find them.

Installing these gussets made a lot of sense to me.

Thanks.  I figured they had to fit.  I never bought them because I have frame connectors and all the convertible pieces added to it.  The lower seat pans are cut to fit around the frame connectors and welded solid. I think I will still add the gussets to the build.

Thanks Greg.  I have the Rod & Customs coil over MII front end.  Long story but my towers had been cut to fit a Boss 302 in it and then I found the complete R&C set up for $1,000 brand new so I couldn't pass up on the R&C kit.
