tks all Nope mine is not marked, I use this type of coil on my 66 w/ a Summit electronic distributor. I just had this distributor fail, after 9 months. Warranty is sending me a new one. Now dammm I guess ? I had better carry / have a back up plan.

yep but no,, I like it so much I replaced it with a similar new one a couple of years later. I'm having wiring issues putting in new Dakota gauges. The wiring in my car is driving me crazy. I think the electronic module inside distributor failed. New one gets here Fri. Changing coil because it's the only thing I haven't yet replaced.

nice,, the new one I bought this am is also marked. Now where can I get that mounting bracket ? I have mine mounted with long screws no bracket.

The bracket in picture is from an F series truck 88-97 5.0/5.8
Could easily find in other models and various shape designs too.
The one I made for the 65 is from heavy gage sheet metal.
It is bent into an “L” shape.
I made a square hole and mounted ignition coil to the bracket. (Drill and jig saw)
I used 4 bolts and keps nuts to attach coil…I even tapped the holes.
Then the bracket has 2 mounting holes that attaches to my power steering pump bracket.
I have my coil laying down and terminals closer to firewall.

The Fox mounting brackets have been reproduced. Available through LMR here:
