    good thing all those frame rails are water tight

    1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.

    I imagine there are quit a few submerged cars/man caves up in northern Calif. News was showing one house up by Gilroy that had a six foot water line with ducks swimming by the slider and several car tops barely visible. Hope no Mustangs were lost!

    Had some of that happen to me last week. Water flooded the garage where my Mustang is stored currently while I work on the 65. Water got almost up to the brake rotors, but that's as far as it got. All dried out now with no damage to the car.
    (Why do you call him Lyin' Lester?)

    Nah, Mike was Lester's half brother. Holt was his mother's name after her second marriage.  And why do you call him Lyin Lester? He just reads the news, just like all the news announcers. Guess it depends on which channel you watch.

    Only good thing is it's fresh water and not salt water.  There were several cars that flooded here during the hurricane.  I forgot which model car it was Lambo or something like a guy had just bought and it floated away.  I heard of some older Dodges flooding as well.  I did make an offer on a flooded 66 convertible that was already in need of a restoration.  I was unable to strike a deal on it.
