Looking for Radiator options to go in my 1965 mustang Coupe. factory 289 A/C, P/S car. I'm looking at upgrading to a bigger Radiator for my car. I was thinking it would be neat to add the MS Radiator upgrade to my Car. I'd like the New Radiator to maybe be an Original 1967-70 or 73 Big Block Radiator. Does anyone happen to own one that they'd be willing to let go of for a reasonable offer?

I upgraded to the 1967 radiator. I had a new core support so I got to do all the cutting to widen the radiator opening on the table. Which made it easy as pie. No one would ever know just looking at it that it was modified.
I bought an aluminum radiator with the square tank. I always wished I had gotten the stamped tank. It just looks better.

Below is what I installed and am happy with it, although it is the width and height of the stock radiator for a 65-66 Mustang.
Aluminum Radiator: Summit SUM-380461 (Manufactured by “Northern")

For 65-66 using 67-70 24” clamp-in stock radiator
Driver side lower hose applications:
Use 70 24” radiator and shroud
Cut core support 2.75” each side
70 302/AC lower and upper hose
67-68 upper radiator bracket with rubber pads, bolts in-line with existing hood latch bolts.
Modify 69-70 lower brackets with pads so radiator sits 1/8” above frame /weld to frame
Custom brackets required for AC condenser
Passenger side lower hose applications
Same as above except use 67-69 24” radiator and shroud.
Both use 17” fan

For some reason when I was looking for hoses I kept thinking I needed two different hoses. Now I know what I had put in my NPD wish list will work.
I hope to start fitting the radiator in the next week or so. I did not buy lower mounts and will see if I can make my own. I

Lower brackets.
Buy the rubber inserts for 67, 24” radiator
Form 1” wide piece of 1/16” thick steel to fit the rubber. Make spacers to weld those brackets to the frame of the car. I use a paint stir stick laid flat on the frame under the lower tank to get the proper gap under the radiator. Simple and cheap…
Be sure the brackets are as close to the centerline of the car as the radiator tank will allow. This is the only thing that keeps the radiator from being able to slide side-to-side.

Thanks MS. It's these simple instructions that can save one a lot of time fussing around.
