Looks like it to me.
I would check the motor mounts too.

Motor mounts are good. Trans shift fine with no jumping. Found it because I was removing the seats.

I would replace that.

I have a C4 Mount that I pulled off my Son's 68 that looks just like this. The rubber bushings are completely broke off. He's switching to a t5 anyways. But yeah the transmission was basically just sitting on top of it with nothing secured.

Ron68 - yes, that mount needs to be replaced. Make sure the trans cross brace is located properly.
Steve69 - The trans mount in those years are the same for automatic and manual transmissions. I have a T5 in my 65 and used the original 65 trans mount.

Thanks all, getting a new mount today and will verify that the trans cross brace is located properly. I will also look into making sure the mount isn't pre-loaded when installed. I might have to elongate the outer holes a bit so that the mount is in a null condition when I tighten the outer mount bolts.

The new mount had the outer mounting holes already elongated. I moved the mount as far aft as the holes would let me, and when I lowered the transmission back down the two lower studs dropped straight down into the holes in the cross member - so no preload like before. The original outer mount holes were not elongated, so the mount was preloaded aft, and that is why the front attachments failed.
