Want to se a dyno graph comparing 4 camshafts: F4TE, HO, E303 & TF?

In video number 8 on my 393W build (camshaft video 2) I graph out my cam options using my desktop dyno to see torque and horsepower curves so I can pick the perfect cam for my application.

1-2-3 blocks?  The guy on eBay said those were “camshaft display blocks”. 😁😁

They are extremely handy. Funny that I provide what I think is a very revealing graph and we are talking about 1-2-3 blocks 😂😁🤣😂😁🤣

Funny, I just ordered a dog river tools tramming gauge off of Am azon, then I wound up at HF buying a second dial indicator for it.    I sold it to my wife by calling it tramming for dummies!  (she thinks I have enough tools* which I further explain is impossible).  Trying to tram with a base off of  the spindle is time consuming!

I like the blocks holding the cam up.  They are very universal!   I might ask my brother to print up some 3d cam holders.   Maybe he would do that for me.   He printed me a plastic case for those cheap warrior hex drill bits that is pretty neat.

If multiple things can go wrong, the one that will go wrong will be the one that causes the most damage.

Nice Video !
Was the Trick Flo cam made for 5.0-351 Windsor engines.... or was it made for an engine significantly LARGER (cubic inches)
393 cu. in. is WAYYYY larger than 5.0 or even a 351W.
That's the issue I have with pick-a-box shelf grinds.
It's my understanding that most cam companys "test" their different grinds on bowtie engines and then take those findings and grind them into a blank to fit Fords...MoPars whatever.
  I understand why....($$$)...but still. Sort of a scatter-gun approach.
As far as tighter LSA number "costing low end torque"....Most short-track (3/8 mile....1/2 mile) run cams with 106* -108* LSA.   They REALLY come off the corners quick     Soooooo...??!
Anyhow.....good video....great presentation...obviously a lot of prep went into it.  I've enjoyed ALL of them!

it is labeled as a 351w cam but I think that has to do with the firing order.

It’s an interesting thought experiment that the cam  should work the same regardless of displacement IF AND ONLY IF intake and head flow increase proportionally to displacement. In other words as displacement goes up if there is a head intake flow restriction you increase cam performance to compensate for those restrictions.

As to your one size fits none or a Chevy I don’t think any make or model is at more disadvantage or advantage. Even the Chevy guys, unless running the exact combination of parts the cam was specifically designed for they are going to have the same issues we do. Further more with computer testing/modeling more cams likely are make and model specific and way less real world testing and design is even being done.
