Remember the 80’s ?

Perfect example of why one should never modify the exterior of a classic car to suit their own taste unless they are willing to suffer future consequences.  What might be popular at the time will likely NOT be the style of the future.

Re: Remember the 80’s ?

What's wrong with it? Blaaaaa!!! Seems like they always wanted to make the Corvette bodys better back then, never liked those either.

Re: Remember the 80’s ?

I've got no problems remembering the 80s ... it's the 70s that I struggle with.

Re: Remember the 80’s ?

I the 60’s&70’s J C Whitney was the go to catalog.🤪
I ordered a ton of neat $#/t from them, they had mandrel bent tubing in just about any size you wanted.
I built exhaust systems for cars, bikes, dune buggies and even a couple of airplanes from that stuff.
They also had virtually any kind of muffler you could imagine.

Re: Remember the 80’s ?

The sad part is… the workmanship appears quite good, so there is always something positive.  Plus, with all the parts out there now, it is probably reversible.  But I doubt they will ever get their $62k asking price.
