    I also remember reading about it.  Its interesting that they were looking at AWD in '65.  Seems its another one of those innovations that eventually made it into a lot of cars people drive every day today.  I'm sure at the time Ford didn't think they could justify the cost, and that no one would pay the premium for the AWD system even if it made the car better in most every way.

    Thats new to me too. Kinda like the all wheel VW bug I read about from the early 50s

    Slammed Big Blue, ran over the varmints that messed with the Stang. Now all is good in the NW

    I've wanted a Jensen FF, (Ferguson Formula), with the 440 6 pack, since I heard of them in the 70s

    I read a same story that had a pic of a 70 in it. It sat pretty high

    70, ragtop 351W/416 stroker Edel Performer heads w pro flow 4, Comp roller 35-421-8. T5
