Re: Inspiration please

In 1981 or 82, I was working under a single post lift and experienced my first earthqake. The entire building was shaking and I thought the car was going to come off the lift. Fortunately, the car did not move.

After working for many years with jack stands supporting many different cars, I decided that I did not want to push my luck. I found a product called Kwik-Lift, and found two of them on Craigslist near me. I bought both and never looked back. I think it would take at least a 9 on the Richter scale to knock a car off a Kwik-Lift. I looked at the Kwik-Lift website and the company states the cost of steel curtailed production.

Re: Inspiration please

Now all we need is for Daze to connect an electric linear actuator to it and it will be ready for Rudi.

1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.

Without a linear actuator it will not provide any assistance getting up and down.  And without a lift, the upper chair position has limited uses as well.

At least that is how I see it

Re: Inspiration please

If the linear actuator below will really move 1300 lbs then it would probably be possible to automate that crawler.

Re: Inspiration please

One way to not get under the car ever again is to sell the car.

I could respond to that but it would involve  ( to this forum anyway) a lot of inappropriate language!🤬
