Going in for my prostate removal surgery Monday morning.

Thanks for all the advice and encouragement you Guys and Girls have giving me. Still pretty nervous about the whole thing never thought I would be facing this. I was hoping to have my gears in my car by now, but I guess they will be in after the first of the year and then some tuning and hopefully some Mustang trips I sure do miss my old car though.

Re: Going in for my prostate removal surgery Monday morning.

I’m guessing you are having surgery?   I’m praying all is and will be well.

Re: Going in for my prostate removal surgery Monday morning.

I had it done about 8 years ago when it was very new to this country. Recovery took a little more time then expected but I am about as normal now as could be expected. Just shower daily even if it is very hard to do at first and all will go well

What's wrong with your robot that it needs surgery?

Re: Going in for my prostate removal surgery Monday morning.

Billie, I had same surgery 6 years ago and one thing I found that helped with the pain after the surgery, say month or so, is to wear an athletic supporter all the time except while sleeping.  Since the urinary tract is shorter now after removal of the prostate, the supporter keeps pulling of the urinary tract at minimum. Hope this helps and hope all goes well with the surgery...

Best wishes and prayers for a quick recovery.

Re: Going in for my prostate removal surgery Monday morning.

Billy, Good luck on your robot prostate surgery. What made you deciede on that particular  surgery in stead of the HDR radiation like we talked about? No bumpy roads in the Mustang for a little while anyway.

Best wishes, BILLY.
My question is …
Who is keeping all the crazies at bay while you are getting worked on?

Hope everything goes well.  Are you getting the parts they're taking out?  Maybe you could pickle them and hang them from your rear-view ... just to show off a little

Re: Going in for my prostate removal surgery Monday morning.

Had mine out a couple of years ago. Really not a big deal. A couple of days down, pee in a bag for 10 days and once that’s out, you’re good to go.(diapers an option). Good luck
