Throttle return springs on 3x2 Holley setup ?

Anybody know how/where they originally attached return springs on the end carbs?  I know how I CAN do it, but prefer to match originality if possible.  Pics in manuals do not show any. There are torsion springs on the butterfly shafts but seems like there should be something else.

I don't have the answer, but maybe try contacting Bob Perkins, or Tony Branda's place of business. 


65 Fastback, 351W, 5-speed, 4 wheel discs, 9" rear,  R&C Front End.

I’d bet “Woodchuck” on VMF has the answer, the guy is a walking encyclopedia on so many technical questions.
