I don't think I'd ever pay the money for a system like that, because other than the ride height adjustability of the coil overs I don't think it improves handling much over a properly set up stock style system.  It seems like a decent system, just unnecessarily expensive.  BUT, you aren't buying it.  So, if the car already has it I'd be fine with it.  I wouldn't pay any kind of premium for it and would probably use it as a point to negotiate the price down (not really what I want, car devalued by aftermarket parts, etc. you know the game). 

No first hand experience, so I can't say.  I will say that they are at least articulated and shouldn't bind causing issues or failure.  Typically when you remove all the cushion from the suspension the car handles really well, but ride quality suffers.  At that point the ride will come down to how good the coil overs are.  Is the valving in the coilovers adjustable?
