Prayer request for Daze

Glen Buzek just informed me Day Scovel was taken in for emergency heart surgery today.  Details unavailable right now.
Our prayers can only help. Hoping for a full recovery.

Re: Prayer request for Daze

I'm very sad to hear that.  I don't want to hear that any of our community is having health issues.  My thoughts will be with Daze.  Thank you for letting us know.

Re: Prayer request for Daze

Good morning all.  Update on Day.  Made it through surgery.  Was on a heart/lung machine and was incubated until 4 am this morning when they were able remove him from that assistance.  Still in critical condition and not out of the woods yet. Please continue with positive waves and prayers for him and the family.

Re: Prayer request for Daze

From yesterday afternoon:

From Daze's wife this afternoon.

He is now making slow progress and is off the IVs and other tubes except the drain from surgery. We are still in ICU but hope to move to a room tomorrow. It will be a long recovery but we are thankful.

Re: Prayer request for Daze

Hey Gang, Latest's update on Day is had a good last night but a long painful day.  Upping pain meds for him to ease pain at the drain tube.  Hopefully will come out of ICU this evening and into a room. Will post more info as I get it.

Texted with Day today and he continues to improve slowly.  He is now an official member of the zipper club and has the scar to prove it.
