Ya know? Back in the dark ages when I was in college, that term came to be. It had to do with pranks and such. Except the "F" did not stand for "Fink". I'll let you figure out for yourself what it stood for.

To my Mom, 'fink' was a curse word, she was aghast when 'rat fink' was being used back in the mid-sixties.
(we didn't use it in the house)
