On the wiring coming from the exterior light feed plug do I have to wire the power feed black with yellow stripe to the starter fender solenoid or could I simply wire it to a power feed that's from the battery? I'm sure It would be fine to go to the battery that 37 feed just goes to the battery side of the solenoid and then also splits off to the Headlight switch and also ignition switch. So I don't see a problem with doing this. I just haven't finished wiring my a few connections on my harness firewall plug and also on the exterior light feed harness.

Sounds like it should be fine. That wire doesn’t care where it gets its hot connection from. If I understood the question correctly.

Connecting this feed (wire #37, Black-Yellow) to the battery, instead of the batteryside terminal on the starter solenoid will work the same. Remember, this feed also feeds the fuse block.

That's what I thought I just wanted to make sure before I make any changes that I'll regret from not being 100% positive.
