When you're doing 70 on the highway, let us know if you can hear yourself speak out loud at a normal volume.  There were old glass packs on my 302 when I bought it in 2013 and I could not hear myself at 70mph.  I changed them for a pair of Thrush Turbos in 2015 and I'm still happy with them.  With the Turbos, there is still engine noise at 70 but a normal volume conversation is fine.  No A/C in the car so the windows are also down but the Mustang doesn't produce that much noise from the wind either.  I've always liked that about the Mustang.  My other cars and my truck are terrible at highway speed with the windows down.


1968 T-code Coupe with a 302.  Nice car, no show stopper for sure, but I like it.

I'll video it from inside while driving with windows up and down. I'm really expecting it to not be that bad with all the sound deafening I've done.
