Made a throttle spring return bracket and added grill emblem

I've been trying to come up with something for the throttle return spring for a while.  I even looked at buying something already made.  Today I recalled having these strips of stainless steel.  Roughly 2x8 in size.  Took one and cut it up and drilled some holes.  I think it turned out pretty good.

The cobra emblem I wanted to fasten it disn and not use two sided tape.

Nice work!  Not criticizing but wondering if you couldn't make that square chunk a little more artsy.  If you scale that cobra emblem and use it as a pattern it appears that the bolt holes would fall within the curvature of the head and upper body, and the spring holes would ball about where the coil on the ground is.   Since the rest of the car is so meticulous, the square plate seems ... pedestrian and out of place to me.

Thanks and I have thought about doing something with it. It's pretty tough to work with.  I have more I could practice on.   I do like your idea!!!

Just offering this as a thought -- doesn't have to be a cobra shape.  Hole saws of different sizes can be used to remove material and create interesting shapes.  You have to do some planning so you don't prematurely remove the material that would be a center for a hole.

Thanks.  Sadly the AC system isn't holding vacuum.  I the seals on my gauge set are bad.  They are over six years old.  New seals arrive tomorrow.    Just like everything else on this build, it's never simple on the first try.   Lol
