There will be a local cruise-in type car show Friday evening June 20 in Belton, Tx.
2-1/2 hours from my place. About same from Dallas. Three hours from Houston
Anyone interested in a Mini-Bash?
I figured an overnight stay Friday night and going to the show would be a good mini bash plan.
If a couple of you are interested, I will research a local hotel to spend the night.
Remember mini bash rules.
It is a guys only event and your car must be at least 25 years old.

Jose will be there with his 65 fastback.

Looks like two more from DFW and one more from San Antonio are coming. Still no Houston folks.

I am booked for $112. I hope this hotel is better than the Roadrunner Lodge in Tucumcari New Mexico. Remember that gem of a roach motel Steve?

I never promised you a rose garden.
Our room in Tucumcari was pretty good. The one at the Wimberley Bash was a definite roach hotel.

Jean and I had the honeymoon "Sweet" in Wimberley, so we were pretty comfortable. I mean, it even had three wall receptacles.

That is because their vacuum cleaner only has a six foot cord on it. Rooms with only one receptacle, don’t get full treatment. Roaches know where they can hide and not get bothered by it.
