Re: Terrible Flooding In Texas

The Guadalupe River flows to the lake where I live. A 37’ high wall of water is heading down the river towards the lake at the end of my street.  It should arrive about 3:00am tonight.
We are on high ground and should be fine.
So far, 24 people have lost their life in the flooding along the river.

Stay safe, that's a lot of water! Definitely a horrible tragedy.

Re: Terrible Flooding In Texas

Prayers are with you and everyone in that area. I live in SW PA. We've had a lot of wind and rainstorms in June. There is a small strip of West Virginia between SW PA and Ohio. One of the storms passed through there and dropped 4" of rain in less than an hour. Damage and life loss was unbelievable. I couldn't believe a 37' of water heading my way. Once again, our prayers are with you.

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

Re: Terrible Flooding In Texas

Hope that your weather stays rain only. Daughters rain and wind turned into a Tornado that took out a hospital and a neighborhood.  She said some were injured butt nobody was killed. That was her first experience with a tornado after moving to Arkansas from CA.!!

Money can't buy happiness. Butt it can buy Car Parts... and that is pretty much the same thing.67 FastBack
