Since our son is home on leave he has been pushing me to work on the mustang. Keep in mind he just got on Monday. This morning he wanted to get up early and paint the side mirrors for the mustang. This normally isn't a big deal except I have a 1:30 flight to catch today.
Happy to say we got the mirrors painted with no mishaps and I'll make my flight. I let him spray the white and red basecoat. He was afraid to spray the clear so I sprayed that. I wouldn't trade anything else for these memories and would push the time frame again to work with my our son.

I have three in the cabinet. Funny thing is he usually will make sure I or both wear one. I think we were just in such a rush we just didn't think.

I replied earlier but don't see my reply. Ugh
It was a blessing having him helping me.
Mirrors just screw down. They did come with another type of mounting pieces.

I guess I was not clear. How do you mount the mirrors on the ladder? Do you carry it so fast that you need them?![]()

Lol. They are hanging from hooks, not the ladder.

Guess I missed something, Bob. EXactly what/which mirrors are those? They look great...power? Do the vent windows clear and I hopw you made sure they are mounted far enough to the rear to allow proper adjustment for all drivers. Mine should have been about 3/4" farther back to be perfect.

71 Torino mirrors. Yes they clear the vent windows a yes I can see with them. Drivers side has a manual adjusting knob the passenger side does not.
