Deborah Gray told me today that Steve passed away yesterday from the cancer he had been fighting. He has been an integral part of this group for many years. He hosted the Glen Rose Bash a few years back. He was a very innovative car/truck builder and a great guy to be around. I remember he once drove from Glen Rose to my house in Ovilla, at least fifty miles away, to bring me a drive shaft I needed badly. He was always willing to help.
As his final request, he asked that all his Mustang buddies raised a glass in a toast to his name.
Remember Steve Gray.

F@ck. So damn sorry to hear that. Steve was a quiet, but really good guy. Meet him at his Glen Rose Bash in 2018. Hard hit for sure.

Sad to hear of Steve's passing. I didn't know him personally, but from the comments of others on this board, he was a definite asset to the Mustang hobby. It is sad to hear of the passing of a member of this group, and of loss of his friendship with others here is truly a great loss. RIP Steve. My prayers to his family for their loss.

So sad to hear of Steve-G's passing. I first met Steve & Deb at the Wimberly Bash (2015 I think). He delivered a trans tunnel he cut out of a Fox Mustang from his boneyard that, once grafted in our 66, it provided enough room for the T56 that now resides there. We also saw him at several subsequent Bashes, and admired his work and quiet manner. Great guy. We'll miss him.
