Re: Bullet Bob Celebration of Life

I don’t know it it is appropriate to designate this as a mini bash, but we can refer to it as Bullet’s Final Bash.
Bob was a huge supporter of the bash and usually got somewhat emotional when he spoke about the bashes and the many friends he made during the events. He was constantly thanking me for starting the bash events.
I am looking forward to one final road trip to visit Bob, or at least, his memory. A strong showing of classic Mustangs with his friends, their drivers, will make this a send-off I feel he would appreciate.

Re: Bullet Bob Celebration of Life

Barry I'm sure Bullet would understand. He was always telling me how much you knew about Mustangs, and that you knew more about Shivyss than Mustangs.

Terry I just booked at the same hotel and dates.

Re: Bullet Bob Celebration of Life

Thanks, Terry for the hotel suggestion. Sherry and I are booked for two nights.  Pretty sure Jose and his wife will be attending as well.  I hope a lot of guys will drive their Mustangs as a tribute to Bullet.

Re: Bullet Bob Celebration of Life

15 Hour drive from my house. Mustang Steve, which path are you driving? I might caravan with you and Jose. I have to see if I have enough vacation hours from my forecasted time off that I already put in this year.

Please keep in mind that Southwest flies into Montrose if this helps anybody not driving. They have at least 1 flight a day in and out of Montrose usually midday. During ski season they may have more flights.

I'll be heading over from Denver on the 17th and back the 19th.  If the weather cooperates I'll be driving the Mustang.

Re: Bullet Bob Celebration of Life

There are not enough words to say that has not already been said here. We would really be remiss if we did not return our love and admiration to Bob and his family. We made our reservations for 3 days at the same place and will tag along in the Mustang with the rest of the crew.
