Bullet Bob’s Bash thrash

Ov coarse, whi knot?

I suspected one was seeping.
The puddle under the ‘65 was a clue.

Harsh roads and winters in non heated garage for 9 months does not help.

Bright side, my boss let me use my spot in garage.

Always something to deal with! 
I don't know how old these are, but you might want to contact the manufacturer about the 'failure', maybe they can offer something less expensive then buying new units.  
Just a thought.

Viking sent me an RMA to inspect and repair which I will do.

In the meantime, I purchased a replacement kit from Summit and parts arrived yesterday.

Hopefully, will get it all back together tonight or tomorrow.

I only had a little bit of fluid on top of one shock all winter.

I looked at them when I was playing “musical chairs” with stuff while fixing the tractor and snowblower recently too.

To make things interesting, had to get a larger set of snap ring pliers before everything closed last night at 9pm…the joy of living in BFE.

My thrash continues also. Turns out those fancy copper exhaust gaskets do not work well with headers. I now have more leaks than I had. At least I gots a week to swap out the gasket.

That is a bummer about the copper gaskets.
Don’t pitch them yet, I would like to see where the leaks were on the gaskets.

I won most of the battles last night.
Assembled the front suspension and managed to get anti seize everywhere.

Today, set ride height, shock settings, and test drive on dry roads…avoiding potholes of course.

Just have to get tools rounded up for the trip.

Do you have an H-pipe on your exhaust system?


Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.

The side block on my hydro boost decided to leak and I burnt up my ps pump.  Took the side block off and the o-rings looked fine and the bolt was tight.  180 miles on it all, just my kind of luck.

Just wondering, maybe the PS pressure was too high causing that block to leak.
If you have a Borgeson pump, they offer a kit to adjust the pump output pressure.  It has washers to install that adjusts the pressure and a chart giving approximate pressure for the number of washers.
