Good info- so I believe I should be able to use my v6 mustang master cylinder. But get a manual pedal. Does that sound right?

That's what I did. I made an adjustable push rod to fit.

Where were you able to source a manual brake pedal? I gave mine to a friend when I converted to power brakes. Do you know if 1967-1969 pedal will fit? They are all over.

For 65-66, the manual and power pedals are the same. When I swapped to 4 wheel power disc brakes, I moved the pin down to get the ratio change.
I ground the weld off the back of the pin, and drove it out with a drift, re-welded it into the new location.
If your original pin was cut off, MS sells a new pin. You should be able to change your pedal back to how it use'ta be.

68-70 manual brake pedal will work in 65-66.. offset is a little different and foot contact plate is wider, but it can be easily cut to fit. The offset should not matter.
Power brake pedal 67-70 is different and will not fit 65-66 pedal support.

Thank you , update- I think it may be a differential issue causing a rattle- I took it out and is at the shop. He will look it over and fix if needed. Going to have it narrowed a bit more while it’s there.
