First off, I want thank all who have helped me learn more about carburetors.

I have learned more about carburetors AFTER I had swapped the ‘65 to factory EFI.

I finally had enough and rebuilt the 470 cfm Holley Truck Avenger on my wife’s ‘79 truck.

I suspected the carb needed a rebuild, 6 years ago, just did not set aside time to do it.

Truck has never run this good.

Thunderhead289’s videos on YouTube helped explain in layman’s terms of what various adjustments are for on the carb.  The various test scenarios really made it easy to understand with data and proof.

If you are struggling with your carb, this is great group to learn from.

I had a Duraspark ignition module intermittently acting up, usually when warm…made for a fun adventure in troubleshooting the carb and ignition system at the same time.

Fortunately, I had a spare module that Alan had given me…many Thanks!
