Move front spring lower support

65 V8 Coupe, Moved the lower coil spring support 3/4 inch outboard on upper A frame. I have the progressive springs. Raised the front very little but seems to ride a little better? I think one inch would have been better as  its a little low for me!
Removed shock, slightly pried down A frame, removed spring....Pretty easy!

What are you saying, Howard?  You moved the spring perch out 3/4"?  If so, did you use roller perches?  Also, your last statement is confusing.  Did you go back and remount the perches after the initial 3/4" move?  Had you already done the Arning Drop?

Yes, did Arning drop a couple years ago, moved the spring perch out 3/4 inch. Used old perches.

Re: Move front spring lower support

You might as well go back and redrill your UCA's for an inch.  At the same time replace the OEM style perches with roller perches.  Even at 3/4", those bonded rubber perches will quickly self destruct.  I am not sure of your desired hieght adjustment but you can see my pictures in this post to show the difference between stock position and 3/4".

Yes, did Arning drop a couple years ago, left the spring perch out 3/4 inch. Used old perches.
