Front vent window

Is there a seal or anything that goes between the front triangle vent window and door or does it just slide in there and bolt in. I bought this car in prices and everything is a puzzle putting it back together. Seems to me there should be some kind of seal. If so a part number or something would help. Thanks!

If this forum can't fix it, it isn't broke.

Re: Front vent window

It helps if you tell us what year and body style. However 64-68 had a channel that presses into the vent frame ,which seperates the door glass from the vent window. Here's ah link to a exploded view pic..http://www.mustangandfords.com/how-to/paint-body/mump-0108-weatherstripping-window-channels-seals/

It's hard to type "funny"

Re: Front vent window

Sorry 66 coupe, I was talking between the vent window frame and the door. Does seal go the to stop water from getting down in the door. There is a lot of information on that link that will help. Thanks.
