front suspension

I have a 65 would like to convert front suspension over to a something different than stock.
I have been offered a 1992 mustang front end. My question is will it fit into my car?

Re: front suspension

This topic is covered frequently on the forum.  This is the most recent - http://fyi.boardhost.com/viewtopic.php?id=3241

Generally, the fit is not good.  The 65/66 chassis is not designed to handle the loads of a strut suspension without a lot of mods and even then the results are yet to be proven to me at least that the car handles even remotely better than a well sorted out stock suspension.  The Mustang A-arm suspension is thought by many to be a better design than a strut.  Consider a manual or power rack upgrade, a brake upgrade, roller perches, adjustable strut rods, and a few other mods you can research on this site.  The cheap 92 suspension will not be cheap when you finish the work and the mods suggested to improve the stock suspension will probably be cheaper in the long run.  Use the search function and just enter "front suspension" and you will be gifted with a list of many threads.  Try Google as well.
