Re: Severe storms in DFW area??

We won't know till morning. It's been ugly. Confirmed fatalities in Granbury, which is SW of Fort Worth. Tornados popping up all over the place. Storm cells still rolling in at 2230 hrs.

Re: Severe storms in DFW area??

Almost 11pm now.  They just called off the tornado warnings in my area.  I am east of Hornman.  Looks like we got through this one unscathed...so far.  There are still big storms west of Ft Worth heading this way.  My machinist lives in Cleburne where they had a huge tornado on the ground for quite some time.

No more new roofs and minivans, Don?  We got rain but not enough wind to tear any tree leaves off.

Re: Severe storms in DFW area??

Sounds like we got more wind than MS, but no real damage.  The heavy damage was on the Southwest corner of the DFW area.  Four confirmed tornados, with as many as ten as yet to be confirmed.  Looks like the tornado in Granbury took out an entire neighborhood.

On the bright side, we desperately needed the rain.  The entire metroplex is either in or about to go on water conservation.
