I rebuild t5's on the side. Most recently I've decided to start building and getting rid of my cores, they take up too much space.
I currently have 2 t5's ready to go. Both are v8 world class 85-90 mustang style. If you want, I can put on a longer 94/95 input shaft.
These are not rebuilt, but rather what I like to call "refreshed" Both have received brand new second gears, and some other used gears from my pile. All bearings are inspected, and all syncro's are mic'd. Only syncros with thickness matching new syncro spec are used. I'm selling them for the same price you'd find a used one, but they've been completely gone through.
I'd like $375 each plus ship..no core charge.
I have one fox mustang 5.0 bellhousing for sale $60 plus ship.
I have one new in box bm pro ripper short throw shifter, never used...retails $240, sell for $125 shipped

I have one, perhaps two more t5's I can put together.
The first is a nice low mile 01 v6 unit...has the stronger 91-04 gears in it.
I can set it up a few different ways...the first is with the longer input shaft so that you can use a 94/95 bell, and the second is with a shorter 85-93 fox input shaft. I'll subtract $50 from the price if you go with the longer input shaft, as I'm out of the shorter ones and will have to buy one if that's how you want it set up. I can also set it up as a used/inspected unit...here I tear it all the way down, inspect all bearings and syncros and gears, replace just what's worn, and slap it back together. This is assuming I have enough spare parts to do this. If this is possible, price is around $400 plus ship. I can also sell it as a fully rebuilt unit, all new syncros, small parts, bearings etc,...for around $200 more...prices are subject to change slightly...but that's what I hope to be able to do this for.
No core charge. I have a fox bell housing I can sell, but I'll only sell it as part of a package deal with a t5...
Shipping I believe is around $100
I have a second box coming in this week...I'll have to inspect it, but if it's rebuildable, and not too far gone, I'll be able to piece it together and sell here also.

I don't really have much of anything that I could assemble complete...
I've got maybe a few cases, some third gears, sliders, and a few other odds and ends, but not sure if the price of assembly would be worth it or not for you. If you're looking to build up a t5z, that may be possible, as all we'd need is the case, sliders, and mainshaft.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
