Celebration Time

Celebration time After 8 months of first being stupid and thinking I could not do the work myself. Paying someone a lot of money for nothing. Thinking I was getting myself into something that was way over my head. After bring my 66 convertible home and began cutting out all the rust (and believe me there is a lot) Today a welded on my first new part!!!!Installed a new torque box and front frame rail….I would include pictures but I am afraid to show you guys my garage and my welding techniques. I am in awe of the pictures that you guys post on here. I am know where near as talented and knowledgeable as the members on the is site but I am trying. Thanks for all the help and the encouragement.

Re: Celebration Time

You and the car will get better all the way.  Just be sure to keep everything in alignment and check, check, then double check before final welding.

Think about the guys that were putting these cars together in the first place and your confidence level will go way up!

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
