What goes around, comes around

As you know, I had sold my red 69 T5 coupe last year (or was it the year before?)  Anyway... it then moved about 60 miles away to the new owner.  The other day, I was driving by downtown Ovilla and saw the car parked at the Carwash BBQ Joint.  I stopped and talked to Trey, the new owner, who bought it off a car lot about 50 miles the other direction.  And he lives right near me in Ellis County!

I hope to hear from Trey on the forum soon.  And maybe see that 69 that I bought to use for driving to the BASH, actually show up at the Wimberley bash this year.

That is pretty cool that it is still 'local' to you.

Re: What goes around, comes around

Sold the EFI system, so that is no longer a sleeper cell in a box.  Trey has expressed an interest in a V8 conversion, though.  Since the car has a T5 in it and a 9" rear end, it will be an easy task.

ok let see " wyait"    take old engine out and then

1) new ft suspension
2) all new wires everywhere
3) complete new ac system (why not, dash is apart for wires)
4) up grade all guages see #3
5) up grade brakes all disks
6) decide on modern 440hp coyote (now redo / change above #s 1-4)

Re: What goes around, comes around

Don.
You are confused.  That is YOUR car that needs all that stuff.  The 69 has new suspension, brakes, transmission and is just waiting for a V8 transplant.
