I am rebuilding the entire front suspension on my 66 stang. Every thing is new. Have added the Borgeson power steering. The question that I have since the Borgeson box appears to have stops built in. Do I need to install the original Mustang stops? I am thinking not but would like to hear it from someone else. The instructions I have do not say yes or no. Thanks

Left mine in...works just like stock steering, only way better.

I have never installed a Borgeson, but it only makes sense to have the mechanical stops on the car's suspension to avoid loading the internal parts of a high dollar steering box.

I checked with borgeson and they said the box has internal stops and external stops are not required. I have it in writing from them. We replaced the lca with a CPP subframe and the CPP lca had no way to bolt stops on.

Because we all think It just has to go farther, No matter how much noise that P/S belt makes.
So I think I will keep the stops. More is always better right?
