hey guys need help, looking at a 65 coupe vin # 5R07T Correct me if im wrong but what i can find out is this is originally a inline 6 cyl, dont want to post complete vin# but will in private , been told its an original 289 ???

yep, 6 cylinder car......
Does it have 4 or 5 lug wheels on it now?
Many "T" codes were properly converted to V-8's.........nuttin wrong with that. I certainly wouldn't run away from it if it's straight, little rust, etc...
But, if the owner is claiming it's a V-8 car, he is either not a mustang guy or, is trying to pull a fast one on ya...
So, armed with this new information, you could use it to your advantage and try to negotiate a lower price...

T= 200 C.I. 1 V As the guys on the forum confirmed. I just thought you might want the rest of the code. If you PM me the complete VIN I will decode the rest. If you have the patent plate information I can decode that for you also.
