Keep some baby powder in the glove box for powdering your pimp hand.  You've got to keep it strong you know.

Re: check out my newest acquisition

I'm with you birdman,  not a caddy or Lincoln. My boss at the gas station I worked had a 78 T  ( ifin I remember correctly) I thought it was a cool car, still do.

It's really clean for almost 40. My cousin had a grey one, it didn't look near that good in 87.

Had a white 79 with the red interior. Loved that car. Hood a mile long looking down over it.

Re: check out my newest acquisition

Looks to be in nice condition. I bought a 77 TBird for $75 once. Drove it home after installing a new starter. It had so much blowby the air cleaner woild fill up with oil. I bought it from the original owner who had never once changed the oil in it.
If the dash lights don't work, I bet I know why.
Would like to see you make the bash in that thing!

Re: check out my newest acquisition

You guys! First car I ever bought just outta high school was a '78 bird best driving automobile I ever owned. No real performance but there wasn't any cars that would snap your head back them days if i remember right the fastest production car was a datsun, I used to out run Camaros with one of these old birds, 17.sec 1/4 mile (fact) with the eight track blasting.
