I have a set of 17x8 American Racing Torque thrust II wheels for sale. They are 17x8 with 4.75" backspacing to fit early fords. Have Falken 452 hp tires in 245 45 17. Tires have about 1,000 miles on them.
One wheel may have an issue with where the tire seats to it. Tire went down and took it to Tire Kingdom and it wouldn't seat so they replaced tire with a new one and it seated fine. Now noticed while the tire is holding air it seems to have a slight bulge in that area. This tire has less than 100 miles on it.
Worse case is you need to replace the one wheel. You might be able to get tire removed from wheel and remounted. There is no damage or anything to outside of the wheel.

I'm in Houston. I work well with pictures, thanks for posting. I always pictured my car with the gray centers, hadn't really thought about all chrome.
What brakes are you running? With 245/45 tires all around, has there been issues with rubbing? Are the lips of the fenders and quarters rolled?

On the 67 I haven't had any issues front or rear with the 245 45 17's. My car also sets fairly low with the Shelby drop in the front with 1" 620lb lowering springs and the rear has Eaton lowering leafs in the back.
I have baer track 13" brakes on the front and SSBC rear disc. The rear disc they sell was based on the early Mustang SVO and the Thunderbird turbo coupe.

Thanks for the info.
Do you still have these wheels & tires for sale? I'm located in Miami, FL.
