Oh, I don't know... that hood scoop reminds me of a ski-jump! One with a built in snow-fence in the front to keep people from accidentally falling into the engine from - you know - all that power! I personally think the 7th grade shop class of '75 did a great job with the bondo in this project...
Also, is that a 351? Why'd he have to carve out the firewall for that? Did he move it back in the chassis, or what?

It says in the description that it's a 390.
Several things I want to say about this car!
First, he says its "Custom Shaker Hood" I'd say when you take the roof vent off your house and bondo it to your car hood eventually it will shake off!!
Second. While Mustang "purists" can look away, your neighbors, your wife or your girlfriend sure wont. They will be turning their heads to VOMIT.
Roll cage is there in case you take a corner too fast. NO it's there so that when this thing comes apart from all the hacking you did on it to get that 390 to fit in the front floorboard, it will save your stupid A#$.
I've got more to say but first I need to go jab my eyes out with a dull stick!!
That's all!

It can't be a 390. Intake isn't splitting the heads, so it's no FE. And Clevelands or M's have that straight up thermostat housing, not the angled one. Look at where the heads/valve covers are in relation to the shock towers. And the edge of the radiator looks like it's near the solenoid! I think this guy just moved everything back about a foot or so, with a smallblock! Crazy.

Sorry, but I think I'll pass on that one!

I came on here to post that is a 351C/400. Looks like others noticed it too. The other thing I was thinking is not so much that someone made it, but that 17 people have bid on it.

Thanks for setting me straight on the Clevelands and M's guys. =) Haven't seen enough to be real familiar with 'em I guess!

Definately not a FE, If you count the number of valve cover bolts is an easy way to tell what engine family it came from. I guess some people got shorted on the ethics and morals part of life to put out such a bs ad. When i saw the front end picture I instantly thought someone hacked the crap out of a mustang II. It could have been my stomache gurgling, making my eyes water though.

As a way of saying thank you to Steve for all that he does, I think we should take up a collection and buy this car for him!
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
