swapping a 2002 4.6 into 65 Mercury

Not Mustang related but would sure appreciate the help if others have swapped a 4.6 into earlier Mustang.  I have a 2002 4.6 out of a Mustang GT and am in the process of swapping into 65 Comet.  I'm having problems with fuel injection pulse and am wondering if this may be a problem with theft deterent package?  Has anyone done a similar swap and run into this issue?   I'm getting spark and fuel to the injectors but no power (signal) to the injectors.  Thanks all!

It does sound like the passive anti-theft is biting you.  You probably will need to have the EEC-V PCM re-programmed butt (TS&T) for questions I've had good luck getting info form The Detail Zone (sub of Ron Francis Wire Works).  Google "Detail Zone" for contact info.
