Keep your heads down and stay safe. I hope you all are fine and I'm praying for you to get through the days ahead with no bad issues. Good Luck.

I just spoke with Glen B ((1965 5.0) and he said they still have power and have gotten about 4" of rain so far with more on the way, he's sure. So, for now the Buzek gang is doing okay.

Here at our home in New Braunfels (about 4 miles north of the town proper), we've had almost 5 inches of rain since midnight. The wind has been strong, not "hurricane" type, but I would guess gusts in the 30-40 mph range. Nothing like just 40 miles east has experienced. I realize the storm is not over and we may yet get the worst of it.

northern Texas (Dallas area) has been light rain and cloud cover has kept temps down soooo nice so far

Northwest Houston here. The rain has has come in spells and not real heavy. Hopefully it stay like this and give the water time to drain off before the drainage canals reach max capacity. Not much traffic on the road. Still have power. Tornadoes have been spotted within 10 miles of the house. Prayers for those with conditions that aren't this good.

We are in Katy Tx west of Houston we are doing fine. Picked up some parts from Steve's Mustang parts yesterday and drove the 65 coupe all day. I fell asleep waiting on Steve and Glen to come from the store I clocked 45 min wait time and I dosed of with the a/c on and the windows was frosted up lol. Temp gauge was still at 185 seems to be ready for the Bash. I don't want the wrench award for 2 years in a row LOL. I pray all is well with everyone rain or shine.

I'm in Richmond and we had lots of rain and more still falling. Tornadoes went around us, thank goodness. But lots more rain still to come. I think my brother in- laws 65 FB is flooded, can't get to it. It's in Pasadena at a shop. I had just ordered a brake kit from MS. Parts are probably still in the car.

Anyway you could get ahold of a big sheet of plastic and put it under all the tires and then wrap it up at the top like a big sandwich baggie? If you cannot move it, that is.

We are south of Canyon Lake, west of New Braunfels and north of San Antonio. Had lots of soaking rain and wind was not bad. I am on high ground I hate to mention we needed the rain here.
My daughter, Cara, is north of Houston in The Woodlands. She left her car on the upper floor of a parking garage before the storm hit. Smart kid.
I have available garage space in Ovilla for forum members who are getting flooded, if needed.
Coupedaddy sent me a picture of his front yard. I think I would be ready to hit the panic button if I saw water that high in my front yard.

I have plenty of property to store some cars and a car hauler here in Dallas if anyone needs help. I have some vacation days to burn if needed.
Let me know.

My cars and my brother in-laws came out safe. I don't know how his fastback made it in Pasadena? They were slammed the first night then hit again Monday. Thank God.

Glad to hear all are doing well. Been glued to the news. The house and cars are still dry and we have power. We have really been blessed.
I don't think this is over yet. Addicks reservoir is still reaking havoc on folks above and below the dam.
REMEMBER!!! When posting a question about your Mustang or other Ford on this forum, BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to go on. |
