T5 crossmember question......

I intalled the tranny mount.  But the tublar crossmember that I have will not line up with the holes on the frame and the mount????? I have 66 fastback.  Will the square frame crossmember work better? I got this as a freee part, so I am not sold on this member.  I will post pics when I get a chance.  But I can say that the tranny is sitting towards the rear more than the holes on the car.

Re: T5 crossmember question......

Below is the pic of the crossmember and tranny mount.  The tranny mount bolts are about an inch towards the rear of the car.  I dont think this crossmember will work unless someone else has an idea of what I'm doing wrong.

Re: T5 crossmember question......

Nevermind!!!! I feel like an idiot!!! After surfing pics of the cross member installed correctly....I found that I have mine in backwards....thats why it wont fit.  I just turned it around and it fits.....Sorry!!!
