whos running a edelbrock carb 1403 with an aod convertion. my question is my throttle linkage is the stock steel rod it i install the sonnex cable corrector kit it show hooking up a throttle cable on a stud no hole for my steel; rod to go in.has anyone ran into this and how did solve it?

Can you post a pic of your carb clearly showing the section where the linkage hooks up? And of the new aod linkage? Going with a custom setup requires some creativity in making up the connections.

I have a 351 motor and edelbrock carb on a street rod, and used the Lokar linkage set-up. I used the adjustment instructions from the Ford shop manual on set-up of the pressures. I used a pressure gauge on the trans per the shop manual and everything worked great after setting the pressures. LOL Jerry
