Re: East Bound And Down

RPM is down in Utah with front wheel bearing issues. AAA is on the way to his rescue and will tow to Bullets place. No matter the Bash is still the destination.

Made it to Bullet Bob's about midnight. Thrash will happen when I return.

Re: East Bound And Down

Haven’t we discussed that bent spindle axle destroying bearings previously?

Re: East Bound And Down

Yes we have Steve, but this time it was the divers side, the opposite from last time. I suppose both spindles could be bent, but the odds of that seems pretty high to me. I will put them between centers to check straightness on the lathe when I get home.

This Motors Manual image is how I adjust the front wheel bearings.

Re: East Bound And Down

Is that inch pounds or foot pounds?

Re: East Bound And Down

Rpm has bad luck!  First, his own car breaks down, so he rides with Bullet to the bash. Then at the bash, Bullet’s F150 poops out, and has to go the Ford dealer for throttle problem.
