    Mini bash in Waco, TX. Nov 2

    Saturday evening, Nov 2 there is a small car show at a church in Waco, TX.
    We can meet up Saturday Nov 2 in the morning. Meet up somewhere, go eat, then go to the show. Maybe grab a brew afterwards.  Head home Sunday after lunch.

    No affiliation with the church or the show. Just an excuse for another mini bash.  Only rule is you have to drive an old car.  All who can make it are welcome to come.

    Formula 1 weekend at COTA in Austin. Traffic will be atrocious. 
    I'm a race official for F1, but y'all have a great time hanging out.

    I want to.....my list of excuses so far includes a busted car and hopefully moved into another house. Will have to wait till it gets closer to make a final decision. 

    Forgot to add house repairs from inspection report.

    Motel quoted me $147+ tax over the phone.  I used Hotels.com and got a room (king sized bed) for $104.00 plus tax totaled 119.59 and you get 1 nights credit.  10 credits for a free room.

    Orbitzs 97   all rooms non refundable   ???   can't pull the plug until I figure out why engine lowered?  Got a lift scheduled for this wed (maybe)

    BTW from the hotel it’s 5 miles to Buzzard Billy’s & car show only 2 miles from the hotel.

    I’m really gonna try to make this 😉

    How many Minis are we going to be bashing and should I bring a bat or a sledge hammer? Safety glasses will be mandatory I suppose.
    We won the race this year, right? So that’s why we’re celebrating?

    '66 Fastback since July 27, 1981. Springtime Yellow, originally a 200 cu in, 4 speed. Also a '92 LX Coupe, 5.0, 5 speed.

     yep probably right  but (T)   ok'ed a bid of 36 shop hours  gonna  putter her in on Oct 18  for completion nov1.   figgern maybe by April  2020 I'll have it back.
