Dynomax VT Review

Hello,
I would to hear from those that have installed and are using the Dynomax VT on their classic mustang. After the fact, what are your thoughts and feedback? The good, bad or ugly?
thank you,
William

Re: Dynomax VT Review

there is a guy (MFE) on corral.net who uses them on a fox 5.0 and really likes them. I have been thinking of switching to them

Re: Dynomax VT Review

I have them,, had turbo muffler, then stock type mufflers,  Now the VT.  almost all the drone is gone, now just hear normal wind noises,  My set up is a fastback with slightly modded 302 , shorty headman headers. stock duel GT pipe set up with cross over h-pipe.  I have a five speed tran with 3:55 gears.  RPM at 60 -70 is in the 2000-2400 range ,,

Re: Dynomax VT Review

I don't have those, but have Heartthrob Velocity series. I am running 4.33 gears  with a mild built 302, long tube ceramic coated headers. Down the hiway I am runnig about 2600 to 2700 rpm at 65 mph. All I hear is wind noise and just a little bit of exhaust.  No drone to speak of at all.  They sound really throaty when I put my foot in it and I get alot of compliments on how it sounds.

Re: Dynomax VT Review

Thank you everyone for your replies! I am a few months out from replacing the exhaust so any input is appreciated. Also, I will follow up with MS after the bash for more feedback.
Thank you!
