65/66 factory power steering

Is this correct routing?
Lines are all new as received from Rock Auto.
No damage to any.

Waiting for LH tie rod adjuster to finish steering.
Any tips or clearances I should be aware of?
Thanks!

Re: 65/66 factory power steering

I think Chock set you straight on VMF. Here is how my 67 looks.

Re: 65/66 factory power steering

Thanks Gary.

Chock was helpful with route for the 65.
LH inner tie rod swings away from  center link, unlike your 67 as I noticed in your picture.

I do have a follow up question about position of idler arm.

When wheels are straight, how should the idler arm with respect to RH frame rail? (Parallel, Point toward engine or point toward RH tire)???

I took some before pictures, but not this...of course.

Re: 65/66 factory power steering

Parallel to the frame rail is how mine is.

Re: 65/66 factory power steering

Both the idler and pittman arms should be parallel to the rails.
