Crushed Fuel Line

So I'm under the car stuffing the speedo cable back into the tranny and I see this; A crushed fuel line.

I also see a couple of pinholes in the exhaust welds. The wonders of welding upside down.

I think I noticed the crushed fuel line many moons ago and she runs great so I'm going to leave it for now. The pinholes I plan to weld up ASAP.

Re: Crushed Fuel Line

Fuggidabowddit...........unless you plan on "park'in" with your babe and need the motor running to keep warm...(which kinda defeats the reason for "park'in")
I bought some of this......"stuff" that you rub on leaky exhaust and it seals it up.
It sorta works.  Prolly be OK for pin holed welds.

Re: Crushed Fuel Line

I would simply weld those up rather than attempt some bs patch in a tube that will prove temporary at best.  Welding is easy and forever.

Before you try to weld it, wire-brush it clean so the weld will be all metal.

Money you enjoy wasting is NOT wasted money... unless your wife finds out.
