We're just getting it now. Not bad yet, some pretty good gusts and a little bit of rain. Worst of the rain is supposed to be overnight.

It came thru Chesapeake in two waves. First 0100 the second 0430. High winds and rain. Tornados just south of us. Wiped out some mobile homes, 1 confirmed dead 3 missing. Lots of downed trees. Part of my neighbors house in my back yard. Minor stuff. First one of the season. More to come I’m sure.

Came blowing thru about 7 o'clock last night. (King) High tide about 8:00 pm.....just when the storm was at its peak here.
Water came into my ground level storage shed (just a little bit)..........(my little workshop I posted pictures of!)
Water was knee deep in drive way so cars couldn't get out! None got in car/truck though. I had moved the Mustang Sunday before the storm to a rental house we're moving to. High and dry there.
Spent the entire day cleaning yard today.......can't tell there was ever a storm came through.
Perfect weather today for yard clean up. Mid 80's and humidity about 175%!
At least there was a nice cooling breeze!

Lost power about 10:30AM yesterday. Still not back on, no idea when it will be. Backfeeding the house with my little generator. It will be fine so long as it doesn't get super hot again. Not enough juice to run the HVAC.
I lost a big tree in the back yard. Didn't damage anything but my kid's playhouse. I had just fixed the roof a year or two back on that thing.
Oh, and the roof on my house is now for sure shot. Four buckets in my attic I need to go dump. Guess I get to spend money on something that isn't a car part...
