So, you installed a Pratt & Whitney R-2800 radial engine in your Mustang. Nice. It would have fit better if you had first pulled the 289 that was in there..... (the caption said the engine was from a DC-6 aircraft - I used to work in the engine teardown shop at Pacific Alaska Airlines many years ago and my job was to tear down those R-2800's we pulled off the DC-6's we flew) Had to be a thrill opening up that huge Stromberg carburetor and letting all 2100 horses loose! I'll bet the steering was a bit stiff and the 2300 lb weight gain in front was hard on the suspension.

I'm reminded of my uncle's plan to put a V1710 Allison into a two cockpit wooden speedboat...
