The issue is it only lasted 6 months...
Worked fine and today I was replacing a bulb, it blinked twice really dim and then died.
Swapped ALL the bulbs, new fuse (even though the old looked fine), new flasher. Still no turn signal. brake lights, hazards, and parking lights all work.
Just sucks, OEM lasted 50 years...

Nobody sells a quality replacement turn signal switch. Bite the bullet and buy a NOS Ford switch.

What Texas said.
NOS switches are not gunna get any cheaper than they are now ... by the time you replace it with another POS, then buy NOS in 6 months, I'm guessing it will be dearer.

Who supplies NOS?

Where ever you can find one.
Butt... after a quick look ....
Green Sales are a good source for hard to find stuff.
They are showing 1 C9OZ13341A in stock.
If you call their research ph number, they'll tell you the right part number for what you want.

Mac’s has the NOS switch just under $200.
I am surprised the Scott Drake switch functioned upon initial installation. The metallurgy of tge springs is total junk.
Aftermarket steering wheel adapters can destroy a brand new switch. If you have one, replace it as well when you replace the switch. The problem is, with repeat installations, they stretch and will pull down farther on the tapered shaft than they are supposed to, over-compressing the horn contact springs. Also, ditch those nasty roll pins that come with the adapters and replace them with a factory style canceling cam. It will make for less stress on the canceling arms of the switch.
See my article on modifying an aftermarket steering wheel. I think it is still on the How-To forum page.

I recently fitted a Scott Drake turn signal switch and it actually had a short, which caused no end of issues. I ended up throwing it in the trash and tried a Dennis Carpenter switch. The Dennis Carpenter switch works (kind of), so I'm thinking of getting my hands on a NOS as the good folk on here recommend.
I am starting to loathe Scott Drake stuff and I have personally seen their correspondence to the parts supplier when I reported issues with items purchased. Disgusting...

I just purchased a NOS turn signal switch. Some years back I purchased a reproduction original steering wheel. Do I need to replace anything before installing the new switch?

Your repro wheel should be fine with nothing to change. Just be sure it has the cancelling cam on it.

That's a relief. It looks like I threw out my original steering wheel. How do I double check and confirm that the reproduction steering wheel has the correct cancelling cam on it? The Dennis Carpenter turn signal switch will cancel out (as well as randomly come on).

the key is.............'it doesn't have two roll pins sticking out to "ACT" as a canceling cam'!
Not sure if JUST the cancel cam can be bought.

It is real simple to adapt the original canceling cam to a Grant adapter.
