I have a brand new clutch cable that I won’t use since I sold that car. $40 and I’ll cover shipping to get it to you.
It’s already been altered for the correct installation..!

Wow..!  Jenny and I are really bummed out. These new dates kill the trip for us. We have to be in Houston over that week for an event that is required for Jenny’s business.

Super super sad about not getting to see you guys in 2019. This would have been 4 years in a row..!

Hey forum people...!

After the 1500 mile drive for the MustangSteve Bash this year, we decided to do a 302 roller engine swap into our 66 coupe. I’ve pretty much collected everything that I need except for the pressure plate and
10 1/2 inch clutch combination (we’re running a T5).    We’re also swapping to the MustangSteve cable clutch & power brake set up.

For those of you who have done this swap, do you have a clutch and pressure plate recommendation?

We’re looking at about 300 hp.

For those of us driving up from Dallas, what are the dates to reserve in Florida...?  I know we'll stay a night or two while en route.  Just want to make sure I have the dates right...!

I have a Borgeson setup in two cars.  I'm fittin to put one in a third.  However, THIS original setup came out a 67 that will be a Trans Am racing replica.  It gets a rebuilt power steering box with a quick steering kit.  It's a Bear driving slow, but great control and feedback on the track..!

Do you have a carb spacer/insulator?  After shutdown, the fuel will tend to evaporate/percolate more quickly if the carb is sitting directly on the manifold. A 1" spacer works well if 1) it is a type that fully seals top and bottom.  I had one that was open on the bottom and it didn't seal on the manifold with the correct gasket; 2) you use the correct longer studs; and 3) you have room to close the hood.

This is GREAT advice.  I installed the Edelbrock Intake/Carb setup on my 65 289 and had the exact problem where the gas would percolate into the engine.  I called Edelbrock to ask why their product would do that.  He asked, "well did you use the fiber spacer under the carb?" as if I'd know it was needed.  I slapped that puppy (the spacer) a'tween the carb and intake and never had another problem..!  I did the same for my 66 289 and have helped other Mustangers with the same.
I'm not saying you might not have other issues, but the Edelbrock 8723 spacer perfectly cleared up the issue..!

I have for sale the power steering set up from a 1967 Mustang Coupe. This car had low mileage on it, and I will include rebuild kits for the valve and the slave cylinder. This set up includes the Valve, the Slave Cylinder, the Valve Bracket, the Power steering pump, and the pump bracket.    I think this is pretty much everything you need except for hoses, which you would replace anyway, and the steering drag link.
$325 for everything.
See y'all in Florida next year..!

I have for sale the 4 Speed out of my 1966 Coupe. It comes with the shifter and linkage. This unit was working in my car but was replaced with a T5. It will need rebuilding and didn't like downshifting from third to second, but all gears worked. I'd like to keep it but I'm spending cash on cars like nuts.  After a little research I'd like $1100 for the setup. If you think that's way off let me know.  But it seems like a decent price.
See y'all in Florida next October...!!

The steering box out of the (early) 67 was a solid shaft. It was a 66 part number box. It's been sold, but it have another box I just pulled from a 66 that seems in very good shape. This car has set since 89. I'm putting a Borgeson unit in it. In fact, you sold me the new pedal and brake booster setup for it. I'll definitely include that box if you're interested.

I have the power steering setup that came off of my 67 Coupe for sale.  I swapped to a Brogeson setup.  This includes the pump (w/bracket), valve, slave cylinder (w/bracket), and rebuild kits for the valve and slave cylinder.

This came off of a car that was one-owner, garage kept, and low mileage.  $300 or make me an offer.

Better in your garage than mine...!!!  DFW Area...

I'm also (always) looking for interesting Mustang parts or paraphernalia...!  I could really use some decent 65-66 Fenders OEM.
